Leadership Training Programs
Our Leadership Training Programs are crafted to deepen understanding, encourage spiritual reflection, and foster a lifelong commitment to the Catholic faith. We offer sessions for children, youth,women and adults, tailored to various age groups and interests.
- Social Religious Education: Weekly classes and sessions, led by trained catechists and faculties , aim to instil Catholic teachings in children and youth, preparing them for sacraments and encouraging a life centred around faith.
- Bible Study and Scripture Reflection: We offer regular Bible study sessions that focus on understanding the Word of God, reflecting on its teachings, and applying its wisdom to daily life.
- Workshops and Seminars: Our spiritual workshops and retreats provide opportunities for guided meditation, spiritual renewal, and reflective practices that deepen faith and strengthen community bonds.
Pastoral Care and Counselling
Our Pastoral Care and Counselling Services provide emotional and spiritual support for individuals and families navigating life’s challenges. Rooted in compassion and understanding, these services aim to bring hope, guidance, and healing.
- Personal Counselling: Our pastoral staff is available for one-on-one counselling sessions, offering guidance in times of stress, grief, or uncertainty.
- Family and Career Support: Refers to the resources, guidance, and balance individuals receive to manage both their professional and personal lives. Family support can include emotional, financial, and logistical help, while career support typically involves mentorship, professional development, and networking.
- Spiritual Direction: Guidance and mentorship in spiritual growth, available for individuals seeking deeper meaning and direction in their faith journey.
Community Outreach Programs
The Catholic Pastoral Centre is committed to serving those in need and promoting social justice within our community. We partner with local organisations and ecumenical groups to make a positive impact.
- Support in Advocacy: The program involves assisting individuals or groups in promoting their causes, amplifying their voices, and influencing policies or decisions to achieve social, political, or economic change in catholic perspective .
- Social Justice Initiatives: Programs focused on promoting equality, addressing social issues, and advocating for human dignity in accordance with Catholic teachings.
- Organisation Services: Services designed to empower individuals and communities, including advocacy, education,training , support, and resources aimed at fostering positive social change.
Events and Community Engagement
We believe that a connected community is a thriving community. Our events bring pious associations/movements/editorial boards of publication together, offering opportunities to connect, share, and grow.
- Events and Meetings : Commemorations , Routine Meetings and Annual Gatherings for organisations/movements including cultural gatherings, and community-building events.
- Workshops and Seminars: Sessions focused on to play a key role in fostering spiritual growth, deepening understanding of Church teachings, and promoting active participation in faith-based communities through regular deliberations , collaborative discussions, and the sharing of resources aimed at enriching the lives of attendees and broadening their knowledge of Catholic doctrine..
- Volunteer and Service Opportunities: Opportunities for members of the archdiocese to give back to the community, volunteer their time, and actively participate in the mission of the Church.
Office Facilities and Conference Spaces
The Catholic Pastoral Centre provides a variety of spaces available for rent, ideal for meetings, events, and gatherings by groups or Archdiocesan organisations.
- Conference Halls: Two Fully equipped halls in the name of “ Joseph Kundukulam available for conferences, meetings, and large gatherings.
- Residential Facilities: Safe and comfortable accommodations for priests, training members of association/movements , guests if needed
- Dedicated Offices: Available for Archdiocesan organisations, associations, movements and publication to coordinate and conduct their operations within the Archdiocese.
Prayer and Worship Opportunities
At the heart of our service is the promotion of prayer and worship, offering spaces and programs for organisations to grow closer to God.
- Daily Mass and Prayer Services: Regular worship services that bring the community together in faith and prayer.
- Adoration and Devotion Hours: Designated hours for personal prayer, reflection, and adoration.
- Special Devotions and Liturgical Celebrations: Opportunities for community-wide observances of important feasts, holy days, and Catholic devotions.
Publications and Resource Materials
To support continuous learning and spiritual enrichment, we publish a range of materials that guide parishioners in faith and provide practical resources.
- Newsletters and Publications: Under ‘Catholicasabha’ the regular updates on events, programs, and community news, available both in print and online .
- The Bible: The Bible and a selection of Catholic reading materials, guides, and prayer books available for purchase or lending.
- Online Resources: Digital access to devotionals, faith-based articles, and other resources for spiritual growth.
